With the use of voice assistants exploding across smart devices, the Google Assistant CRM program was created to send targeted emails teaching customers helpful and fun ways to make the most of their AI voice assistant by saying “Hey Google.”
By using a storytelling approach accompanied by custom illustrations showcasing inclusivity and positivity, we developed global biweekly newsletters educating users on how to use their Google Assistant. Topics ranged from seasonal events like caring for their gardens, new year resolutions and hosting successful get togethers, to everyday tasks like playing music, setting reminders and adding an item to their grocery list.
Emails were segmented based on their Google Assistant device—phones, in-vehicle, or at home on a smart speaker or smart screen, and delivered globally to millions of monthly users.
