“I’ve Got a Golden Ticket”
When Wonka introduced Exceptionals, a new line of premium chocolate inspired by Roald Dahl’s story, they launched it in a way that perfectly aligned with the brand—The Golden Ticket Promotion. This campaign mirrored the movie’s thrill by initiating a nationwide hunt for the golden ticket.
10 grand prize winners received a trip around the world, while thousands of secondary prize winners received airline, Ticketmaster and movie theater gift cards.
To promote this giveaway, on-package bursts were designed and implemented on the new bars and bags, and most impactfully of all, the actual golden ticket was designed creating a visually striking Wonka-fied product launch.
